Take your future even further with an associates degree in Criminal Justice!

  • If you’ve previously enrolled in a community college, and withdrew to go into the police academy, you can come back and nish your associates degree in as little as one semester at Housatonic (depending on the courses you previously took).
  • Previously enrolled students can also benet from Governor Malloy’s newly established bill. The “Go Back to Get Ahead” program allows CT residents that have not attended any state institution of higher education since Dec. 1, 2012 to return to any CT state college to complete a degree and receive up to three-credit courses for free.
  • If you have NOT been previously enrolled in a community college but completed the police academy, you can earn your associates degree in two semesters (if you need development courses, additional time may be required). Many agencies will reimburse you for tuition, and financial assistance is available to those who qualify!
