Community’s Bank Manager Joins Housatonic CC Foundation Board

Cynthia H. Payne, branch manager and business development manager for The Community’s Bank, East Main St., Bridgeport, has become a Board member of the Housatonic Community College Foundation, Inc.

The Community’s Bank is focused on small businesses and consumers, both in the Greater Bridgeport area and other markets, statewide.  Payne was previously an attorney with People’s Bank in Bridgeport; and was principal consultant with Remarkable Marketing, LLC of Oxford. 

Payne is a graduate of Connecticut College, she holds a Juris Doctorate from Catholic University of America and an MBA from Tulane University. Payne is a resident of Oxford, CT.

The Housatonic Community College Foundation was formed in 1990 to assist the College and its students beyond the fundamentals provided by the state. The Foundation provides resources for scholarships, equipment, program enhancements, community outreach and support for the Housatonic Museum of Art. The Foundation is conducting a major gifts campaign, seeking to raise $1 million, which will assist the College to continue to provide convenient and affordable post-secondary training and life-long learning to those in the Bridgeport area.
