BRIDGEPORT – Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses, a highly theatrical retelling of Ovid’s tales including the classic characters King Midas, Orpheus, Aphrodite, Zeus and Bacchus, will be staged May 8, 9, and 10 in the new Performing Arts Center at Housatonic Community College. The May 8 and 9 performances begin at 7:30 p.m., while the May 10 performance begins at noon. The performances, staged by HCC’s Class Act Theater, are free and open to the public.
