PATENTS SUBJECT OF HCC TALK

BRIDGEPORT – The ins and outs of patents will be the subject of a lecture by Frank Busch, founder and CEO of the firm Natural Beauty, Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Housatonic Community College.

Busch, who has been patenting and marketing his products for more than 25 years, will also talk about turning your ideas, products and innovations into marketable products. Audience members are encouraged to bring their ideas and inventions to the lecture for an on-the-spot patent search.

The Busch lecture is the first in a new series made possible by a grant to HCC from retired faculty member Elizabeth Lombardi Doane. HCC’s Elizabeth Lombardi Doane Honors Program is an interdisciplinary program serving outstanding students.

The event, which will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Room A101 in HCC’s Lafayette Hall, is free and open to the public.

HCC is located 150 yards off I-95 (Exit 27) and Rte. 8 (Exit 1) in downtown Bridgeport, a block from the Arena at Harbor Yard.
