UPSTATE NEW YORK SCHOOL CONTRIBUTES TO HCC HATIAN RELIEF EFFORT


Housatonic Community College president Anita T. Gliniecki (third from left) and student Kirk Wesley (far right) accept a box of clothing  for the college’s Haitian relief effort from Salem, N.Y. Elementary School teachers Jane Lourie (second from left) and Valeda McLenithan (far left). The box was one of 42 that were collected by the elementary school and donated to the HCC drive. Lourie and McLenithan (far left) made the 160-mile drive from Salem to Bridgeport Wednesday, Feb. 17 to deliver the items.
