HCC Performances Spotlight Jewish Culture

11/18, 2 & 7 p.m.
Open to Public, No Charge

BRIDGEPORT – Jewish Culture will be spotlighted Thursday, Nov. 18 when The Klezical Tradition band makes a two-part appearance at Housatonic Community College.

From 2 to 3:15 p.m., the group will conduct a workshop with HCC Theater Arts students in which a performance piece will be developed. At 7 p.m., the piece will be performed and the group will give a solo performance.  Both events will be held in the Performing Arts Center in Lafayette Hall.

The events, which are open to the public at no charge, are being held as part of the college’s Third Thursday Cultural Celebration series. During most months in the academic year, a performing artist representing a specific culture comes to the college on the third Thursday to develop and perform a piece with Theater Arts students and give a solo performance.
