State Rep. Tony Hwang To Discuss Political Partisanship

BRIDGEPORT – State Rep. Tony Hwang will discuss partisanship in politics Wednesday, Nov. 2 in a talk at Housatonic Community College.

Hwang, who represents the 134th District that includes Fairfield and Trumbull, will explain how partisanship forms perspectives. He will also elaborate on the importance of politics in people’s lives.

The address will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Events Center on the second floor of Beacon Hall. It is open to the public at no charge.

Hwang, a native of Taiwan who haslived in the district for two decades, is a strong believer in community service. He feels that the United States has given him tremendous opportunities and feels obliged to give back.
