HCC Offering Two GED Prep Courses

Prepare Students for High School Equivalency Test

Start Sept 3, Sept. 15

BRIDGEPORT - Housatonic Community College will offer two 30-hour GED courses beginning September 3.

The courses, which prepare students for the GED High School Equivalency Test, include a semester of writing, reading and mathematics. The course is intended to prepare students for these sections of the GED High School Equivalency exam.

The Sept. 3 course will meet Monday through Thursday, September 3 - September 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The fee is $125.

A weekend course will be offered, Saturdays, September 14- November 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The fee in $125.

HCC is located at 900 Lafayette Blvd. in downtown Bridgeport, less than 150 yards off I-95 (Exit 27) and Rte. 8 (Exit 1), a block from the Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard. Free parking is available in the Housatonic garage.
